As you know, this year’s GCSE results had to be awarded differently from usual, after exams were unable to go ahead due to Covid-19. For more information on how results were decided see the government guidance.

We are hopeful that the arrangements for grading this summer will enable the majority of our students to progress to the next stage of study or employment, and they may still be able to do this even if the grade isn’t what they wanted.

However on the occasion that students are not happy with their results then please take a look at the ofqual student guide to find out more about making an appeal, and what to do if you have concerns about bias or discrimination.

If you have any further queries, in the first instance please contact Dr Zakia on You may also want to talk to the sixth form or college you plan to go to. They may well be flexible about their entry requirements.

You can make a request for us to check whether we made an administrative error when submitting your centre assessment grade or position and if we agree we did, we can submit an appeal to the exam board.

Congratulations and well done again to our students for everything they have achieved in this most difficult of years. May Allah continue to bless them with success and enable them to prosper and continue to benefit others. Keep Believing, Achieving and Succeeding!

A big congratulations and Thank you to the governors, staff and community for their continual support and hard work and dedication for this project.
