Bolton Islamic Girls School

BIGS

Message From The Governing Body

We would like to thank you for considering Bolton Islamic Girls School and we hope you will be inspired by our efforts. Bolton Islamic Girls School was established in 2012 in response to demands from and the support of the Bolton community. We are indebted to all those who have supported the school and continue to support this educational establishment. Although we are still in our infancy, we have strived to lay the foundations of a school that will create an outstanding learning environment for our students.

Our motto, ‘striving for academic and moral excellence’ inspires everything we do. Our ethos is to believe, achieve and you will succeed. Respect is at the heart of everything we do. Respect for a culture of lifelong learning and its power to transform lives is our secret for success. Our curriculum is not only ambitious but it also embodies mutual respect, humanity and a passion for learning in every subject.

We firmly believe that our environment and pastoral support will not only give our students the best opportunity to excel academically but also to help nurture them into young adults with a sound moral compass. This environment will benefit any young female student irrespective of race, colour or religion.

As governors we will do our utmost to support our students and teachers to sustain a school that will allow us to foster leaders of tomorrow. Young females who will contribute to their families, communities and wider afield and act as beacons for those around them. Once again, we would like to thank you for your support and ask for your prayers.
